Role Description

This Procurement and Contract Executive role is situated within the pre-contract sub team at HS2, overseeing a portfolio of corporate contracts valued at up to £60M.

The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of contract management principles, including analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills. They will be responsible for leading stakeholders through complex contract change request processes and ensuring effective risk management across their contract portfolio.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on contract progress, expenditure, and performance metrics;
  • Establish and enforce performance plans, incorporating Early Warnings where necessary;
  • Resolve formal disputes and conduct regular contract compliance audits;
  • Pursue value for money across the entire contract lifecycle;
  • Create and implement tailored contract management strategies;
Package and Perks

This position comes with a competitive salary of £38,550 - £45,350 (Birmingham) or £41,750 - £49,100 (London), accompanied by a 15% 'flex fund' payment.
