We are seeking an exceptional freelance interpreter to join our team at Language Empire. As a highly skilled linguist, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients across various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, and other public and private organisations.

About the Role:

As a freelance interpreter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpreting services to individuals who require language support. You will work on a flexible basis, choosing when and how many assignments you take on.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret for clients in a range of settings, including face-to-face, telephone, and video conferencesWork closely with clients to ensure accurate communication and understandingLiaise between service users and providers to facilitate effective communicationDeal with confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

A strong command of English and another language, with excellent interpreting skillsThe right to work in the UKFormal qualifications in interpreting or a related field, such as DPSI or CIOL registrationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
