Senior Fitness Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Fitness Advisor to join our team at Bannatyne Group. As a Senior Fitness Advisor, you will be responsible for leading group fitness classes, providing one-on-one training sessions, and developing tailored workout plans for members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead group fitness classes and provide one-on-one training sessions
  • Provide personalized fitness assessments and develop tailored workout plans for members
  • Offer guidance on exercise techniques, equipment usage, and overall wellness
  • Motivate and support members in achieving their fitness goals
  • Lead, mentor, and support Junior Fitness Advisors, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
  • Liaise and support the Fitness Manager
  • Ensure the fitness area is safe, clean, and well-maintained
  • Stay updated with the latest fitness trends and techniques to provide cutting-edge advice
  • Promote Bannatyne's services, special offers, and membership packages to enhance the member experience
  • Monitor and drive performance to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to volume of member journey touch points, occupancy of group exercise classes, and relevant contribution to revenue via Personal Trainer sessions, Choose to Lose, and Fuel Smart

Requirements:

  • Be qualified in Reps L2
  • Have strong interpersonal and communications skills and a customer-focused attitude
  • A genuine passion for health, wellness, and customer service
  • The ability to establish rapport, build trust, and demonstrate credibility
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Education to HND level in Health and Fitness
  • Level 3 or equivalent Gym Instruction/Personal Training or Group Exercise qualified (including in ETM, Spin, etc.)
  • Experience of guiding, managing, and motivating teams to bring collective success
