Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly, integration, and commissioning of products and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to maintaining a high-standard workshop environment.
  • Deliver mechanical sub-assemblies and full machine assemblies to a consistently high standard.
  • Ensure build documentation is up-to-date.
  • Support and improve goods in and stores processes.
  • Communicate feedback on assembly processes and work instructions for continuous improvement.
  • Travel to customer sites nationally and globally for installation and maintenance.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working in a productive assembly environment.
  • Excellent understanding of tooling and assembly processes.
  • Experience working in a tight team environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Able to travel.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Forklift licence up to 3.5 ton.
  • Experience of inspection and quality control.
  • Experience of stock/inventory management.
