Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in Lincoln, NE. The successful candidate will perform tasks in a GMP laboratory setting, involving upstream processes (large-scale bioreactors, centrifugation, and filtration) and downstream processes (chromatography, ultrafiltration, and nanofiltration).
Responsibilities
- Perform processes and operate equipment required for large-scale monoclonal antibody (mAb) production campaigns.
- Maintain equipment and problem-solve as needed.
- Understand, follow, and accurately complete process documentation to maintain a high level of product quality.
- Understand and follow safety policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members and personnel from other departments.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- BS in Biological sciences or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in large-scale production or laboratory scale preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail required.
- Ability to prioritize work, think critically, and take initiative.
Working Conditions
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, biohazards, and continuous standing and lifting to a maximum of 50 lbs.
