Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Tutor to join our team at Royal Holloway International Study Centre. As an Academic Tutor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering and developing modules and teaching sessions
  • Preparing and delivering teaching seminars and tutorial sessions
  • Preparing module tests and other forms of assessment
  • Making students' assessment submissions and providing feedback
  • Developing and updating course material
  • Working with the Student Experience team
  • Implementing quality assurance procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and performance


The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a teaching qualification, and experience of teaching in UK higher or further education. A diploma in English language teaching or equivalent is essential, while a Master's degree in a related discipline is desirable.

The salary for this position is approximately £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
