Landscape and Green Infrastructure Specialist

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Landscape and Green Infrastructure Specialist to join our client's Climate and Place team on an initial 3-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist landscape and green infrastructure advice, including pre-application discussions and evaluation of planning applications.
  • Scrutinise detailed schemes and oversee the delivery of new facilities, ensuring alignment with the Local Plan and site allocation.
  • Collaborate with partners across the Council area to establish stewardship arrangements and support the diverse landscape character of the area.
  • Contribute strategic input into the evidence base for the Local Plan and allocation of sites.
  • Work closely with the LPA client to deliver high-quality landscape and green infrastructure solutions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within a Landscape/Green Infrastructure role at a Local Planning Authority.
  • Strong understanding of landscape and green infrastructure principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a remote-based role, with the LPA client valuing office presence on a weekly basis if possible.
