The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of health and safety principles, with experience in supervising employee wellbeing and productivity. They will be responsible for managing overall health and safety standards in our Delivery Stations, ensuring the well-being and productivity of employees while working towards continuous improvement of functionality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Wellbeing: Manage health and safety and employee satisfaction at Delivery Stations, supervising employee wellbeing and productivity.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate on health and safety projects across all based Operations sites.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide authoritative guidance on health & safety matters to stakeholders, especially those relating to your designated area of responsibility.
  • Arrangement Review: Review and audit health & safety management arrangements, continuously improving them where necessary.
  • Risk Reduction: Plan and strategize work systems around reducing health and safety risks, recommending suitable adaptations to machinery and processes.
  • Statistical Reporting: Ensure robust reporting regimes are in place for health and safety statistics.
  • Culture Transformation: Drive behavioural culture change programmes in a large, complex, multi-shift operation.
  • Safety Policies Implementation: Implement and review Amazon's global safety policies, meeting local legislative requirements.

Requirements:

  • Background: Experience in workplace health & safety (WHS) related field.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Case Management Expertise: Experience in worker's compensation case management.

Estimated Salary: $92,000 - $115,000 per year
