Job Title: Security Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Security Specialist to join our team at Control Risks. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with security operations across the UK and EMEA, coordinating response to incidents, and addressing threats towards company staff, assets, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with security operations for all locations and staff in cities across the UK and EMEA.
  • Coordinate response to incidents and provide in-person support as required.
  • Address threats towards company staff, assets, and operations as required.
  • Inform key stakeholders on security principles and implementation.
  • Implement physical security strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships and effective communication across all regional business operations.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness and education programs and materials.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in a security management role.
  • Recent hands-on experience throughout the EMEA region is advantageous.
  • Creative 'can do' attitude towards problem-solving.
  • Experience assessing risk, identifying and deploying appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to manage security challenges in a constantly changing fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in stakeholder management in an international setting.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Able to scale with the business and thrive in a rapid growth environment.
  • Experience with contract security services.
  • Capable of fostering a culture of Trust, Honesty, and Integrity.
  • Flexibility to travel as and when required.
  • Excellent written and oral English language skills are a must.
  • Proficiency in any other languages used in the region would be a preference.
