Job Title: Team Leader

Join Urban Outfitters as a Team Leader and be part of a dynamic team that fosters creativity, employee development, and exceptional customer service. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting store management in achieving a store environment that embodies the VIBE philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • People: Recruit, motivate, develop, and lead a team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Leadership & Communication: Model the way by inspiring, motivating, and encouraging teamwork, conduct productive daily meetings, and effectively delegate projects.
  • Managing the Environment: Oversee all levels of customer service, exhibit excellent floor presence, and achieve Company-average mystery shop results.
  • Operations: Perform all store-level operational procedures accurately and in a timely fashion, achieve store stock loss goals, and uphold Company Health & Safety regulations.
  • Merchandising & Display: Manage aspects of the assigned department, understand and interpret current fashion trends, and take an active role in ensuring floor sets are well-organised and scheduled appropriately.
  • Commercial Awareness: Maximise departmental sales through analytical and creative management of merchandise, utilise Company reports to react to trends, and demonstrate entrepreneurial skills to achieve and exceed store targets.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a management role working in a fast-paced, high-volume fashion retail environment.
  • Demonstrates strong operational skills.
  • An understanding of the Urban Outfitters culture and its appeal to the local market.
  • Ability to drive sales through excellent service, strong visual presentation, and a full understanding of the business.
