Searcys is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team and help drive growth across the next 5 years.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, ideally within the events or hospitality industry, and a deep understanding of the luxury catering market.

This role requires strong networking skills and a natural ability to nurture client relationships. The successful candidate will be pivotal to our growth strategy, think strategically, and have a profound understanding of the restaurant, bar, and event catering landscape.

We are offering a competitive salary of £55,000, plus benefits that include:

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth
  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets (Annual Revenue and In The Year Revenue)
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand our client base and make inroads into untapped markets
Pipeline & Prospect Management
  • Effectively nurture and develop the pipeline to ensure a continuous flow of opportunities that will support delivery of the annual sales target
  • Management and timely submission of all sales reporting requirements
Bid Preparation and Production
  • 'Own' the tender process including preparation of prequalification documents, tender and proposal documents to a high standard that positively represents the company
  • Manage the planning and co-ordination of reference site visits for potential clients and consultants
