Red Bull Powertrains is seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly Technician to join our dynamic Power Unit engineering team. As a key member of our Assembly Group, you will play a vital role in delivering World Championship winning cars year on year.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the operation of Assembly Group, covering all aspects of electronic system assembly, servicing, and maintenance within the Energy Recovery System.
- Ensure all working activities adhere to Red Bull Powertrains clean room processes and ESD compliance.
- Prepare electronic units for development work, testing, and trackside operations, following daily build plans and control documentation.
- Assist with other activities as deemed necessary by Build Team Leaders.
- Manage build specification, up revisions, and component lifing in accordance with Production Control and Technical Operations instructions.
- Communicate assembly and facility-related quality issues to key stakeholders, ensuring faults/NCRs are recorded via the internal business Faults System.
- Demonstrate a high level of technical understanding and electronics assembly competence.
- Electrostatic sensitive device awareness and knowledge of safe handling of ESD components.
- Competent solder skills (ideally with IPC or equivalent certification).
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and follow technical assembly processes and procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel to enable operation of internal business systems.
