As a Teaching Assistant at Opus Teach, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools across Suffolk and surrounding areas, supporting students in allocated classes and ensuring equality of opportunity for all. This role requires a collaborative and effective approach to working with learners and other school staff, as well as taking responsibility for safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.

To be successful in this role, you will not require any specific qualifications, but experience of working with children within an educational setting is highly advantageous. If you have worked in roles such as a Teaching Assistant, Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), or Nursery Practitioner, you may find this position a great career step.

The salary for this role is approximately £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on your location and experience. As a member of the Opus Teach team, you will also receive a valid DBS, holiday pay taken over a 12-month period at a time of your choice, and access to a pension scheme.

In addition to these benefits, you will have the opportunity to gain paid school experience working as a Teaching Assistant and will be supported by a dedicated Account Manager throughout the application and placement process.
