Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Headway Adolescent Resources Ltd.

About the Role

As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will be working in a children's residential home, providing high-quality care and support to young people with challenging behaviour. You will need to be flexible, resilient, and honest, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.

The ideal candidate will have a full manual driving license, be capable of maintaining accurate records, and have good oral and written communication skills. Previous experience working with young people is desirable, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to young people in a residential setting
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, staff, and external agencies
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual care plans
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the residential home
