In this exciting role, you will be working within the prison services sector, responsible for the safe and secure custody of prisoners. Your key responsibilities will include managing prisoners who are at risk of self-harm, conducting prisoner headcounts, and ensuring the secure operation of prison cells.

As a Custodial Officer with Serco Plc, you will have access to a range of benefits including free parking on site, free food whilst on shift, and a pension scheme. You will also have the opportunity to earn approximately £37,800 including overtime, and progress into operational management positions with salaries ranging from £36,000 to £42,000.

Our commitment to your development is at the heart of this role. You will receive comprehensive training, including a Diploma in Custodial Care, First Aid, and Control and Restraint training. You will also have the opportunity to work within a team of 50,000 people responsible for delivering essential public services around the world.

* To work within a 24/7 environment, covering shifts on days, evenings, weekends, nights, and bank holidays
* To be responsible for the safe and secure custody of prisoners
