Job Title: Drama Teacher

Job Summary:

Aberdeen City Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Drama Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to assigned pupils and contributing to the professional, corporate life of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach the full curriculum in drama and theatre arts
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess and record pupil progress
  • Contribute to school planning and improvement processes
  • Maintain and develop knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • Appropriate teaching qualification
  • Full GTC (Scotland) registration in drama and theatre arts
  • PVG scheme membership – Working with Children
