Crisis Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Crisis Recovery Worker to join our team at Mental Health Matters. As a Crisis Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality, recovery-focused service to individuals with mental health needs, including those with autistic traits, learning disabilities, physical health issues, and substance misuse.
Working in a community-based setting, you will inspire, engage, and motivate individuals to achieve their goals, while promoting independence and social inclusion. Your experience in working with mental health services and your ability to identify barriers and understand individual needs will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one engagement and facilitate group-based activities to support individuals in achieving their goals
- Signpost and engage individuals in mainstream provision, including mental health services and community resources
- Work closely with mental health primary and secondary care, emergency services, and partner agencies to ensure a holistic approach to support
- Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, their families, and carers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their needs
As a Crisis Recovery Worker at Mental Health Matters, you will receive a comprehensive in-person training program, a minimum of 25 days annual leave, a 5% contributory pension scheme, and a range of benefits to support your health and wellbeing, including an employee assistance program and discounted gym membership.
