About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at The Entertainer in the Tesco Extra store in Romford Gallows Corner. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing toy department, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandising and maintaining the toy department, including handling deliveries and replenishing stock
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and making recommendations to customers
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the toy department and surrounding areas
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
