About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Set the strategic direction for our mobile app and oversee the development process to ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Work closely with Engineering leadership to ensure the app platform is robust, technology choices are well thought through, and change is delivered in a well-managed and responsible way.
  • Use data and MI to monitor and improve App experience and performance over time, ensuring management visibility of these.
  • Manage risks and controls associated with the App in a way that is responsible and inline with Zopa's risk appetite.
  • Build an App team that can deliver on the ambition for the product, ensuring the right shape of the team, right level of resilience, right individuals, and the right level of coaching and support to be successful.
  • Contribute to the wider product community at Zopa to ensure it continues to be a compelling place for talented people to build their product careers.
Requirements
  • Depth of App experience - we are looking for an 'App native' product manager with a career path that demonstrates immersion in App product development.
  • Highly numerate and analytical - used to using data to understand behaviours, generate insights, and drive decision making around App roadmap and success criteria.
