About the Role:

  • Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to traffic regulations and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Load and unload cargo, prioritizing proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage or loss.
  • Optimize routes for efficient delivery, considering factors such as traffic, road conditions, and time constraints.
  • Maintain clear communication with dispatch, receiving instructions and updates on delivery schedules and any changes.
  • Accurately record deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing their needs and concerns in a courteous and timely manner.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record, demonstrating a commitment to road safety.
  2. Demonstrate the ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo, showcasing strength and stamina.
  3. Exhibit excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with dispatch, coworkers, and customers through clear and concise language.
  4. Possess proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver, highlighting expertise and reliability.
  5. Familiarize yourself with local roads and traffic regulations in the area of operation, ensuring a deep understanding of the environment.
  6. Display a high level of professionalism and customer service while on the job, consistently delivering exceptional results.
