This reputable organisation, based on the outskirts of Farnham, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.

About the Role
  • Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will work alongside one other Credit Controller, managing the collection process of over 1000 live accounts.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Allocating and processing daily payments, submitting daily reports.
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring payments are received, monitoring balances, and managing debt recovery.
  • Prioritising those accounts requiring further collective activities and planning accordingly.
  • Ensuring all outstanding queries are flagged and relevant departments are notified.
  • Assisting with daily receipts posting and identifying bank transactions.
  • Attending and preparing for monthly debtor meetings.
  • Evaluating and improving procedures to ensure maximum efficiency within the function.
  • Adhering to all work practices in line with company policies.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Credit Control.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A determined and strong work ethic.
  • Effective communication at all levels.
