Specialist Support Worker

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Specialist Support Worker. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside specialist teachers, therapists, and psychologists to support secondary-aged pupils with various needs.
The successful candidate will have a 1st Class or 2:1 degree from a reputable university and good A-Levels and GCSEs, including English at GCSE. Previous experience supporting children, young people, or adolescents is essential. A genuine passion for supporting young people with barriers to learning and an inquisitive, warm, and nurturing personality are also required.
In this role, you will work closely with our experienced staff to provide tailored support to students with Speech, Language, and Communication needs. You will receive comprehensive training and support from day one, with opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individualized support to students with Speech, Language, and Communication needs
- Working collaboratively with specialist teachers, therapists, and psychologists to develop and implement effective support plans
- Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student well-being and academic success
