HGV Class 2 Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 driver to join our highways team in New Alresford, Hampshire. As a key member of our team, you will operate the Vacuum Tanker (Gully Tanker) with utmost safety and play a crucial role in maintaining the roadside drainage network.

About the Role
  • Operate the Vacuum Tanker (Gully Tanker) to maintain the roadside drainage network
  • Work in pairs to distribute the workload effectively
  • Conduct physical tasks outside the vehicle using provided equipment
Working Hours and Pay

Monday to Friday, with day and night shifts available:

  • Day Shift: 6 AM - 4:30 PM, £13.39 per hour
  • Night Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM, £16.74 per hour

Enhanced rates and bonuses for hours worked outside of standard hours and for meeting specific performance targets.

Requirements
  • Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
  • Willingness to actively participate in the physical demands of the job

Previous experience in a road or drainage environment is beneficial, though not mandatory.
