Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our team at AWD online. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with our clients to provide high-quality psychological wellbeing services.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience in offering and delivering evidence-based IAPT low intensity interventions at Step 2. You will be responsible for assessing and supporting individuals with mental health problems, making decisions on suitability of new referrals, and working in partnership with other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service
  • Assess and support people with mental health problems in the self-management of their recovery
  • Undertake person-centred interviews identifying areas where the person wishes to see change and or recovery
  • Provide assessment and Low intensity interventions
  • Implement and support a range of evidence-based interventions utilising a self-management model of mental health care

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed academic course of study in line with the IAPT Low Intensity National Programme and qualified as a PWP, e.g. Post Grad Diploma in Psychological Therapies
  • Willingness to learn, adapt and evolve to meet service and organisational demands
  • Completed or in the process of completing the IAPT supervision training
  • Experience of working in a supervisory role

Salary and Benefits:

  • £37,338 per annum (AFC Band 6)
