About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Lead to join our Pension Schemes team at BDO UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading audits of pension schemes, ensuring high-quality work and delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audits of pension schemes, including planning, execution, and reporting
  • Manage a team of auditors, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of audits
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities, including new audit engagements and client growth
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, industry developments, and best practices in pension scheme auditing
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Proven experience in managing people and leading audits
  • Strong knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements
  • Experience with systems and controls testing, substantive auditing, and project management
