Job Title: Shift Maintenance Technician

Location: Avonmouth

Shift Pattern: 4-on, 4-off Days and Nights

About the Role

As a Shift Maintenance Technician at Hovis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our factory equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repair on production machinery, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.

You will work closely with a team of skilled technicians to identify and resolve issues, using your problem-solving skills and technical expertise to find creative solutions. Your attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on production machinery
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and optimize equipment performance
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
Requirements
  • Qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in engineering within a factory environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
