Job Description

Mission and Main Objectives:

Deliver control system design solutions for battery cell and module development, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion, and maintaining world-class quality performance levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support integration, commissioning, and acceptance testing activities.
  • Project manage control system projects through appointed System Integrators.
  • Apply systems engineering tools and techniques to deliver high-quality performance levels.
  • Conduct system verification, compliance, and regulatory qualification.
  • Implement control software and verify using simulation tools and real-time test environments.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and collaborate with a multi-discipline cross-functional team.
  • Liaise with suppliers to source effective hardware or software solutions.
  • Support project-specific safety documentation and demonstrate excellence in PLC programming.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in PLC programming, particularly with Mitsubishi and Siemens platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of modern SCADA platforms and network design.
  • Degree/HND/HNC and/or 5 years relevant experience in Electrical/Control Engineering.
  • Planning, schedule control, and project management skills.
  • Understanding of design principles related to electrical systems and software engineering.
  • Knowledge of mass-manufacturing automatic systems, including motion, vision, and robotic technologies.
