Job Title: Procurement Financial Analyst

Description: This position plays a crucial role in delivering financial expertise to support the procurement operations of the organization, ensuring precise financial documentation and reporting. The role requires collaboration across various teams to guarantee that procurement activities are effectively planned, sanctioned, and recorded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute monthly financial closing processes, including the preparation and posting of journal entries, reporting of results, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Facilitate financial performance assessments with the Procurement team, examining purchase price variances and performing trend analyses.
  • Generate monthly performance forecasts and provide insights on financial trends and discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget by collecting financial data and working closely with Procurement for budget formulation.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure a streamlined procure-to-pay workflow.
  • Partner with Procurement on cash enhancement initiatives and finance transformation efforts.
  • Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support Procurement and Supply Chain Finance.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with a minimum of two years of pertinent experience.
  • Background in a commercial setting with a solid financial foundation.
  • Capability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic global environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and resolve issues efficiently.
