Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Activate Learning. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism and other associated difficulties on our courses.
Our students require individualized support to access their learning, and we need someone who can provide this support in a creative and purposeful way. You will work closely with our ASC Coordinators to develop and implement individual learning programmes, providing support to our learners in small groups and 1-1 activities.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for facilitating the students' learning, using your skills and experience to create engaging and effective lesson plans. You may also be required to support learners to access learning on their course within the mainstream learning environment and off-site activities.
Personal care can form part of the duties included in this role, and training will be provided. We have a variety of working patterns available, including full-time, part-time, and fixed-term contracts based at Reading College.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive hourly rate of £10.66-£11.65ph, depending on skills and experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including generous annual leave entitlement, excellent on-site facilities, and an extensive Learning and Development programme.
