About the Role

Ramboll is seeking a talented Senior Environmental Consultant to join our pioneering journey in environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects with confidence, overseeing the successful setup and execution of permitting, environmental compliance, and management systems projects within Ramboll's framework.
  • Conduct comprehensive environmental audits, support large-scale multinational audit programs, and stay up-to-date with UK regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize expertise in environmental permitting and Best Available Techniques (BAT) to evaluate risks and devise effective mitigation strategies, facilitating knowledge exchange within our European network.
  • Drive industrial growth and energy transition projects, utilizing environmental risk mitigation skills to effectively manage sustainability challenges, including those related to energy transition and resource efficiency.
  • Lead the creation of detailed reports and proposals, maintain consistent client communication, and cultivate strong partnerships for project success.
About the Team

You will be part of our Compliance, Strategy & Transactions (CST) Team operating within our Environment & Health (E&H) Market.

As our new Senior Environmental Consultant, you will be part of a fast-growing team providing environmental compliance and permitting support to national and multi-national clients. Our team helps clients achieve their plans for expansion and change while applying a high level of environmental control.

Requirements
  • Understanding of the environmental regulatory regime applied across the UK and experience of auditing and compliance assessment processes.
  • Proficient in identifying environmental risks and liabilities.
  • Demonstrable experience in environmental consultancy (or similar level of experience with environmental regulations).
  • The long-term thinking of a foundation-owned company.
