We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care and Support Professional at St Mary's Kenmure. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable young people.
About UsSt Mary's Kenmure is a reputable child care organisation that provides a safe and secure environment for the care and education of young people referred from the Courts and Children's Hearings. Our facility is equipped with modern amenities and offers a wide range of academic and vocational subjects, recreational facilities, and a supportive team of experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care and support to young people, including providing emotional support, guidance, and mentorship.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of each young person.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, youth work, psychology) or equivalent experience.
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people.
We offer a competitive salary of £30,069 - £37,672 per year, generous holiday entitlement, access to a final salary pension scheme, and ongoing training and development opportunities.
