Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our Real Estate team in Sheffield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading Project Management Commissions and delivering end-to-end service excellence to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership
    • Lead Project Management Commissions, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
    • Act as the primary client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered to the required quality standards
  • Strategic Advice
    • Provide strategic advice to clients on project conception, including identifying optimal approaches to achieve client objectives
    • Establish overall success criteria for projects, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters
  • Project Governance
    • Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems to ensure project success
    • Plan and manage quality, safety, health, and environment issues
  • Project Planning
    • Develop detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project requirements
    • Advising on resource procurement and management
  • Project Monitoring and Control
    • Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including KPIs, to improve project performance
    • Manage change control processes and project finances
  • Client Interface
    • Ensure effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
    • Produce formal project progress reports and other documentation
  • Business Development
    • Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients
    • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities
    • Collaborate with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work
    Requirements
    • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
    • Proven experience in managing Real Estate projects, preferably in a consultancy environment
