About the Role: As a Senior People Advisor, you will play a key role in shaping our culture and making a real difference in the employee experience.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior People Advisor to join our fantastic People Team. You will be a trusted advisor and partner to our Seller Services and Dealer Services teams, providing expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters, conducting investigations, coaching managers, and developing training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Provide expert advice and guidance on performance management, disciplinary action, grievance handling, absence management, and conflict resolution. Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints and concerns. Coach managers on best practices in employee relations. Develop and deliver training programs on relevant people topics. Act as the point of contact for some internal training programmes, such as our Manager Acceleration Programme. Act as the point of contact for some of our internal benefits, such as our workplace nursery scheme.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement within the Seller and Dealer Services teams. Recommend changes to policies and procedures. Develop targeted training programs. Implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and well-being. Prepare reports and recommendations for the Head of People and other stakeholders. Support talent nurturing by working with managers to ensure updated job descriptions.
- HRIS System and Data Experience: Maintain accurate employee data in BambooHR. Analyse data to identify trends and insights related to employee absence, performance, and turnover. Utilise BambooHR to manage and streamline key people processes, such as onboarding, performance management, and off-boarding.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior HR Advisor or similar role. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels. Proactive and solutions-oriented approach. Experience with HRIS systems, preferably BambooHR. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. CIPD qualification (desirable).
