Neway International is seeking a skilled Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our team in Mendlesham. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and assigning booking slots for inbound deliveries, liaising with hauliers to schedule and confirm delivery timings, and using Excel to update spreadsheets and accurately track inventory and deliveries.

About the Role

They will also have a commitment to health and safety standards and previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the smooth operation of our logistics processes by coordinating and assigning booking slots for inbound deliveries.
  2. Liaise with hauliers to schedule and confirm delivery timings, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  3. Update spreadsheets using Excel to accurately track inventory and deliveries, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
  4. Input booking details into the WMS to ensure seamless integration with our inventory management system.
  5. Inspect deliveries in the warehouse to confirm they are complete and correct, identifying any discrepancies or issues.
  6. Resolve any delivery issues, including overages, shortages, and damages, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  7. Create and maintain goods receipt notes in Excel for accurate records.
  8. Process stock into the WMS, ensuring it is properly logged and accounted for.
  9. Label pallets in the warehouse for easy identification and efficient retrieval.
