For our Corporate Supply Chain Finance department in Sandwich, Kent, UK, we are seeking an enthusiastic placement student to join our team as a Procurement Finance Specialist.

The role will commence on July 1st, 2025, and is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year.

About the Role

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with global procurement teams, plant finance teams, and contribute to various projects such as:

  • Developing business partnerships and communication skills with global procurement teams.
  • Producing monthly consolidated material variance reports by plant and supplier.
  • Performing journal entries and reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Analyzing data to support cost reduction initiatives.
  • Leading and participating in project work within the team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Accounting & Finance or a relevant field (business, maths, economics) with accounting.
  • An intermediate level of Excel and ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and focused approach.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

About Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
