Job Title: UK Fertility Clinic Senior Nurse

About Us: We are a leading private fertility clinic with multiple locations across the UK, seeking an experienced UK Fertility Clinic Senior Nurse to join our team. As a key member of the nursing staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth running of the clinic.

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Job Description:
  • To practice in accordance with the current NMC Code of Conduct and ensure patients' safety and well-being at all times.
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care needs of individual patients undergoing treatments in their care.
  • To provide information to all patients prior to treatment and through ongoing care in order to aid informed consent.
  • Perform ultrasound scanning of all fertility patients, including diagnostic scans, and administer drugs relevant to patients' treatment (in line with current NMC guidelines).
  • Teach patients to self-administer where relevant and appropriate.
  • Assist in clinical procedures such as Oocyte retrievals, Embryo transfers, IUI, Hycosy, Endometrial scratch/biopsy.

Requirements:
  • Relevant JDH forms, SOPs, and information, HFEA Code of Practice 9th Edition knowledge.
  • Awareness of and implementation of the ambassadorial aspect of the post.
  • Computer literate in the relevant database(s) e.g. IDEAS/ enquiry tracker/ iMatch.
  • Competent in Intermediate Life Support (ILS).
  • Quality Management System requirements.

About This Role: As a UK Fertility Clinic Senior Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of all nursing duties in the absence of the Nurse Manager and ensuring that all offered treatment, advice, treatment cycles, and outcomes are recorded in line with current HFEA guidelines and requirements.
