Job Title: Sauce Cook

We are seeking a skilled Sauce Cook to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. in Wisbech. As a Sauce Cook, you will be responsible for mixing ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles to create our sauces and lasagne.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mixing ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles to create our sauces and lasagne
  • Following recipes and specifications to ensure consistency across batches
  • Efficiently carrying out assigned operations or tasks to meet output targets
  • Contributing to improved line performance and efficiencies
  • Maintaining excellent Housekeeping, Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene standards
  • Resolving running problems or issues
  • Handling food ingredients
  • Participating in training and mentoring of new staff
  • Identifying opportunities to continuously improve the production process
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment
  • Good level of English and Maths
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
  • Ability to work unsupervised
