The Recruitment Co is recruiting for a Senior Accountant to work on a full-time basis in the FY8 area. As a key member of the accounting team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing high-quality accounting services.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to prepare accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax returns for a range of clients. You will also be responsible for reviewing work prepared by assistants and accountants, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and maintaining accurate records for clients.

This role involves working closely with the management team to achieve business objectives and contributing to the development of the accounting department.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax returns
  • Reviewing work prepared by assistants and accountants
  • Maintaining accurate records for clients
  • Dealing with client communications and queries

Requirements:

  • Experience in preparing accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax returns
  • Strong communication skills to deal with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
