Job Description

**About the Role**

Taylor Root is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Head of Wordings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new wordings across all lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective wordings strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams and underwriters to build a robust governance framework for product development.
  • Manage a small team of experienced wordings specialists and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality wordings.
  • Work closely with lawyers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including leadership teams, underwriters, and lawyers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of wordings and product development, with a focus on compliance and governance.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
