Construction Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Construction Craftsman to join our team at Woodside Joinery. As a key member of our site-based team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality work in accordance with company standards.

This permanent full-time position is based in Cwmbran, South Wales, and offers a competitive hourly rate of £18.50, negotiable depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive overtime paid at time and a half and subsistence of £25 per night when staying away from home.

• Carry out construction work on-site, including staircases installation;
  
• Work within core hours (Monday-Thursday: 8am-5pm, Friday: 9am-2:30pm) with occasional flexibility required due to project demands;
  
• Maintain excellent communication with colleagues and management to ensure smooth project delivery.
  

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Proven experience in construction, preferably with a focus on staircases installation;
  
• A strong understanding of health and safety protocols and regulations;
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
