Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking for a challenging role in Chesterfield? We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team as an Mechanical Maintenance Professional.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine and reactive mechanical maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment. This includes diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

This is a great opportunity for someone with NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or an approved apprenticeship, and proven experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role. You will be working collaboratively with a dedicated team to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £38,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and are able to work independently and as part of a team, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct routine and reactive mechanical maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment.
  2. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  3. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues promptly.
  4. Occasional welding and fabrication of machinery parts.
