Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Gü c/o Veritas Partners Limited. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to lead our engineering teams and drive site performance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the shift engineering teams, developing and delivering OEE improvement programs, managing maintenance budgets, and overseeing the implementation of reporting systems for key performance indicators (KPIs). They will also be responsible for operationalizing new lines and equipment, improving maintenance programs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop shift engineering teams
  • Develop and deliver OEE improvement programs with a focus on machine availability and operating speed
  • Manage maintenance budgets and overhead spend
  • Develop and implement reporting systems for KPIs
  • Operationalize new lines and equipment
  • Improve and deliver maintenance programs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelors or HND/HNC certification in an engineering discipline
  • An MBA or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or other related fields
  • Proven engineering management experience within the food industry
  • Experience of continuous improvement and long-lasting performance improvement
  • A resilient and credible leadership style
  • Self-motivated and focused with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to mentor junior members of the team
  • Highly technical and analytical with strong people management skills
  • Cost and performance-focused
What We Offer

We offer a competitive basic salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, 27 days' holiday, and an enhanced benefits package.
