We are seeking an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Barnet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Psychology or Education and experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.

About the Role:

The SEN Teaching Assistant will work within our Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) to provide individualized support to students with ASD, ADHD, ASC, and other SEN needs. This will involve working 1:1 with students or in small groups to help them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to students with SEN needs.
  • Work closely with the SENCo, ARP Leadership Team, and SLT to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

About You:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children. The successful candidate will have:

A first-class degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.Experience working with children with SEN, either in a teaching or support role.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.A calm and resilient demeanor.Dedication to providing the best possible education and support to students.
