About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruitment and Work Placement Coordinator to join our Employer Engagement team at Nottingham College. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, recruiting, and placing qualified candidates into Apprenticeships and Work Placement opportunities that align with their skills and career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruitment Support: Coordinate recruitment support for apprenticeships and work placements to meet identified needs of students and employers.
  2. Apprentice Onboarding: Ensure new Apprentices are supported into their chosen Apprenticeship with all relevant checks and documentation in place.
  3. Work Placement Development: Work with employers to develop work placement opportunities.
  4. Collaboration with Curriculum Colleagues: Work with curriculum colleagues across the college to ensure individuals are supported into work placements with all relevant checks and documentation in place.
  5. Target Achievement: Achieve personal targets which will contribute to the team consistently achieving income targets.
  6. Data Management: Timely and accurate input and maintenance of all data records held on the College student records system and other related College systems.
  7. Compliance and Audit: Using College reports to track and monitor compliance with funding rules, audit requirements and College policies.
  8. Process Improvement: Support continuous improvements across the team, processes and procedures.
  9. Meetings and Events: Attend meetings with Curriculum, Support Services and Partners when necessary.
  10. Support Faculty Events: Support Faculty based events such as parents' evening, open days and end of year awards, which includes generating and sending out relevant letters to parents and students.
Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic coordinator who has great attention to detail, is well organized, passionate and has excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of working successfully in a recruitment and Apprenticeship environment.
