Teaching Science in a Thriving Secondary School

The school is seeking a driven and initiative-taking Science Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. The successful applicant will be working across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including exam preparation for GCSE students.

This role will be paramount in empowering and inspiring students to achieve excellent results in the subject, while following and implementing the schemes of learning.

As a Science Teacher, you will need to be highly motivated and a skilled practitioner who is looking to join a thriving school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching Science up to Key Stage 4
  • Exam preparation for GCSE students
  • Implementing schemes of learning
  • Empowering and inspiring students to achieve excellent results
Requirements:
  • QTS or QTLS in Science
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Experience in teaching Science up to Key Stage 4
  • Record of excellent classroom practice
