Job Title: Passenger Transport Escort/Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Passenger Transport Escort/Driver to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a range of Council-owned or hired vehicles, including special purpose vehicles, within the bounds of a PCV licence or D1.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a range of vehicles, including coaches, mini-buses, and light vans, to transport passengers safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct basic vehicle checks and routine maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and in good condition.
  • Drive with due regard to other road users and conform to all Road Traffic Regulations and Codes of Safe Working at all times.
  • Ensure passengers are seated safely and securely using on-board safety equipment.
  • Load and secure materials or equipment carried in the vehicles.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of regulations governing the operation of motor vehicles.
  • Experience of working with children, vulnerable, and disabled persons.
  • Experience of passenger carrying, such as children.
