Inventory Coordinator

Our client, a leading player in the science industry, is seeking an experienced Inventory Assistant to join their small and busy team. This standalone role offers a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your expertise and autonomy while receiving support from a friendly and experienced manager.
Key Responsibilities
The Inventory Assistant will be responsible for ordering, coordinating, and maintaining laboratory supplies, as well as being the first point of contact for stock control and management, internal and external audit requirements, uniform provisions, and hazardous waste management. You will also play a pivotal role in contributing towards SOPs and risk management.

About the Company
Our client works within the science industry, requiring a highly organized, proactive individual with a thorough understanding of stock management, ideally within a Biotech or Pharmaceutical setting. Experience with quality management systems, e-commerce, and purchasing and supply management software is essential. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, is also required due to the nature of reporting tasks. An individual educated to A-level or equivalent and a skilled problem solver who can pre-empt the needs of others, work autonomously, and keep the coordination, maintenance, and management of stock and stock operations running smoothly in a safe and compliant way is ideal.
