Commercial Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team at Charterhouse Recruitment Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Chief Commercial Officer to drive business engagement and deliver in-depth insights into revenue and cost of sales.
As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in enhancing financial understanding, mitigating risks, and equipping the business to boost performance and profitability. You will lead forecasting and budgeting processes, provide valuable insights and modelling, and support new business opportunities and M&A activities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, embraces challenges, and is a considerate team player. If you have a proven ability to work independently, strong communication skills, and advanced Excel proficiency, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer and team to enhance understanding of business performance.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and establish yourself as a vital and trusted member of their management teams.
- Lead and refine revenue and cost of sale (CoS) recognition methodologies.
- Create detailed budgets, forecasts, rolling forecasts, and 3-year strategic plans.
- Assist in enhancing KPI reporting by improving existing metrics and identifying new, relevant KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement and process standardisation.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with over 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven ability to work independently with a successful track record in handling challenging situations.
- Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across the business.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, capable of managing large and complex data sets.
