Job Title: Lead Project Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Engineer to join our team at Manpower UK Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure that projects are aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure that project deliverables meet their needs and expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a project management or engineering capacity.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices, with experience in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional certifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2, are an asset.
