Management Accountant

A great chance has arisen for a Management Accountant to join an ever-growing FMCG business in Hull. This exciting role is a brilliant opportunity to drive the business forward profitably, support the wider business functions, and enhance the operational/financial reporting for the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of weekly management accounts, including reconciliation of weekly sales figures, preparation of weekly cost of sales, packaging, transport, and labour figures, and preparation of rolling overhead figures.
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
- Accounts receivable control, stock reconciliations, and reporting.
- Management of a team of two finance assistants.
- Provide data to operations and commercial teams to assist with decision making.
- Ad-hoc project work and maintenance of general ledger.
Requirements:
- Ideally later stages PQ or Qualified CIMA/ACCA or strong QBE.
- Strong manufacturing and operational reporting experience.
- Proven ability to build relationships cross-functionally and a passion to get into the wider business and add value.
- Able to motivate and mentor self and others.
- Continuous improvement mentality.
- IT Literate including excel and ERP systems.
